for those of you who don't want to read this because you're thinking I'm going to spoil some episodes of season 9, rest assured I'm not going to do that.. what I am going to tell you is what is happening to the cast of CSI...do you see that guy right there?? malamang ung nasa gitna diba?? kilala niyo ba yan?? if not, maybe you remember him in "The Matrix" as "Morpheus".. yup, that's Lawrence Fishburne.. so, anong meron sa kanya??
bagp ko sabihin kung bakit siya ang topic, explain ko muna ang mga nangyari sa season 8 and what will happen sometime in season 9..
si Sarah Sidle (played by Jorja Fox) ay umalis ng Las Vegas para magpahinga muna sa trabaho as CSI.. hindi naman daw sa ayaw na niya maging CSI, pero pagod na xa sa kakahabol sa mga patay which remind her of the ghosts of her own past.. in reality, pagod na si Jorja Fox sa CSI not because ayaw na niya sa series, but because she wants to do things outside of CSI, kaya xa umalis.. babalik-balik raw xa in a few episodes.. after all, hindi pa naman patay si Sarah.. :D
to the fans of Gary Dourdan (a.k.a. Warrick Brown), I'm sorry to say that you might not see him in the 9th season.. for those of you who don't know why, I'll let you find out for yourselves.. but from what I can tell, it's a goodbye for his character in the series..
finally, we have to talk about Gil Grissom (played by William Petersen).. he's decided he wants to be off-camera for now in CSI.. I forgot why, but let's just keep it as he wants to be seen less.. but because he's a major part of the series, they decided that he become a producer of the show, with appearances on certain episodes.. with the departure of Gil Grissom from the lab, you'd expect leaving Catherine, Nick, Greg, and the newbie all alone with everybody else in the lab right? wrong.. this is where Lawrence Fishburne comes in.. I wasn't able to catch what William Petersen was talking about when he stood on stage with Lawrence Fishburne at the 60th Emmy Awards, but what I did hear from Lawrence was something about being honored to become part of the family, and is looking forward to a future with CSI..

my guess is he's going to replace Gil Grissom in the series as the new supervisor.. he's too big of a star to be a simple "newbie" in the series.. or maybe Catherine gets the new supervisor position and has Lawrence as her second in command or something.. unfortunately Americans are so sexist that they might not want Catherine sitting in Grissom's chair, so I think Catherine gets to keep her position, whlie Lawrence Fishburne's character gets to be the new supervisor.. eitherway, I'm exctied to see Lawrence Fishburne become part of the CSI family.. hopefully he can fill the shoes that Grissom left behind.. XD
